Life and Death: Twilight Reimagined is an additional, non-canon reimagining of Twilight. The book was written and published by Stephenie Meyer in honor of the 10th anniversary of the Twilight franchise. The story is set in an independent, parallel universe in which the most significant difference is that the genders, names and roles of the main characters have been reversed, with only a few exceptions.

Meredith Corporation. For those of you who are curious about the ending, but aren't planning to read this book. At times confusing fantasy-romance has fab princess heroine. A sad funeral. Annnnd that was how I felt before I read it.
The story is a gender-swapped retelling of the first book in the Twilight series , and introduces Beau Swan and Edythe Cullen in place of Bella and Edward. As Beau walks into the class, a fan blows his scent towards Edythe Cullen. Beau sits next to Edythe in biology class on his first day of school, but she seems repulsed by him, hurting his feelings in the process. She disappears for a few days, but warms up to Beau upon her return; their newfound relationship is interrupted after Beau is nearly crushed by a van in the school parking lot. Edythe saves Beau, stopping the van with only her hand.

Also, and was hoping I'd feel the same enthusiasm with this title, probably? The star rating reflects overall quality and learning potential. I devoured all the other books in the seri. Hurray for that.
