Looking through the concept art and sketches for The Force Awakens is nearly as enjoyable as watching the film itself. This book was beautiful to look at, and was eager to get my hands on this one, the parts I read were good and added to the artwork. Ed Cumming. I own every Art of and Making of for the past six Star Wars movies.
Some of the ideas really show that this is the first Lucas-less Star Wars movie, Sta Parisi rated it liked it. The books mainly boo artwork accompanied by a short explanation of the scene and the artist's ideas, posters and other information, as the art team debated whether or not lightsabers actually give off light something shown in all of the movies and the idea that Vader's mask was form and function and that all Sith wore them huh. Legendary visual effects company ILM has released a whole host of pre-preproduction images for the film. Posted on their official site , the pieces reveal points from across the film's development; from recognisable renditions of Kylo Ren and the desert planet of Jakku, to early pieces which reveal how radically different the film so easily could have been.
