I agree strongly with Stacy and Hope who commented earlier--The Green Ember really needed some better editing, especially with regard to consistently depicting the characters as rabbits. The story would be incomplete without it. It brings to mind several scenes from the Shire in Lord of the Rings. I picked it serifs anyway since it looked all right and might be something my little sisters would enjoy.

It has all the moral goodness I could ask for wrapped up in an engaging adventure story that is understandable enough for young children but captivating enough for adults. A hero story, this is more Hobbit than Watership Down. More Narnia than Beatrix Potter. Mine are still pretty small.
